1Meetings of the Justice Appointments Council are held in-camera. The ’People's Advocate participates in the meetings and activities of the Council.
2Authorised representatives of the President of the Republic, the Speaker of the Assembly and 2 members of the permanent parliamentary committee for legal affairs, one of whom from the opposition, shall be invited to participate in the meetings of the Council.
3The Council, after each meeting shall communicate with the public through a press release which informs at least of:
atime of the meeting;
bparticipation;
ccandidates, their curriculum vitae, positions for which they apply and proposing institutions;
ça brief explanation of procedures and the method used for the verification of legal requirements and the criteria used for the ranking of candidates,
dfinal act of verification and the ranking of candidates.
