1The Special Prosecution Office exercises criminal prosecution and represents the accusation in the name of the state in the Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Court of First Instance, Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Court of Appeal, and the High Court, takes measures and oversees the execution of criminal decisions, as well as performing other duties provided by law.
2The Special Prosecution Office carries out its functions independently through only those prosecutors who are appointed by the High Prosecutorial Council in accordance with this law.
