The request for exemption from payment of court fees and court costs shall be submitted to the competent court for examination of the trial on the merits.
The court examines the request in compliance with the provisions of the procedural legislation and as far as possible with the provisions of article 22 of this law.
The court in compliance with the provisions of this law and the provisions of the procedural legislation, after examination of the request shall decide:

a) Approval of the request for exemption from payment of court fees and other court costs;

b) Dismissal of the request for exemption from payment of court fees and other court costs;

Against the decision of the court may be made an appeal in accordance with the provisions of article 22 of this law.

The decision on acceptance of the request for exemption from payment of court fees and court costs shall be immediately notified to the Directorate for Free-of-Charge Legal Aid.
