1The Code of Criminal Justice for Children (hereinafter referred to as the Code) contains special provisions on criminal liability of children; procedural rules relating to investigation, criminal prosecution, court proceedings, execution of criminal sentences, rehabilitation or other measures involving a child in conflict with the law, as well as a child victim and/or witness of the criminal offence.
2This Code contains provisions applicable even to young adults from 18 to 21 years of age as foreseen in its individual articles.
