1When the statement of abstention or the request for disqualification is accepted, the judge may not conduct any procedural activities related to the case.
2The ruling accepting the abstention or the request for disqualification shall also establish whether and to what extent are valid any prior actions conducted by the judge who has abstained or has been subject to a request for disqualification.
3Provisions on judge abstention and disqualification shall also apply to the [judicial] secretary of the hearing and to persons in charge of transcriptions or phonographic or audio-visual recording. The court that tries the case decides on their abstention or disqualification.
