1When the prosecutor or the defendant’s defense lawyer request that the taking of evidence be extended over facts pertaining to persons not represented by defense lawyers in the hearing, whenever possible, the court shall make the notifications and shall postpone the hearing, if necessary, but not longer than three days. The request shall not be accepted if the postponement of the hearing would harm the taking of evidence.
