1The party shall collaborate with the public body in establishing the facts and circumstances necessary for the solution of the case. The law may explicitly provide for the additional obligation of the party to submit information, evidence, documents, statements, or appear personally before the public organ.
2The parties may not be required to appear personally before the public organ, if communication with them can be ensured with other suitable means.
3Parties may present their statements either in verbal or written form. Due to the problems or complexity of the case, parties may be required to submit their statements in written form.
