1A Court Council shall be established and functioning in each court.

2The Court Council shall consist of the following three members, unless otherwise provided in paragraph 3 and 4 of this law:

aThe chairperson of the court acting as chairperson of the Court Council;

bThe deputy chairperson of the court;

cThe chancellor of that court.

3In cases where the Court Council has to decide on other than disciplinary issues concerning the chancellor, the composition shall be as follows:

aThe chairperson of the court acting as chairperson of the Court Council;

bThe deputy chairperson of the court, and

cThe next ranked judge as elected in accordance with Article 26 paragraph 5 of this Law.

4In cases where the Court Council acts as Disciplinary Committee in proceedings against other judicial civil servants, the composition shall be as follows:

aThe chairperson of the court acting as chairperson of the Court Council;

bThe deputy chairperson of the court;

cA high level judicial civil servant of the High Judicial Council as designated by the latter.

5In case where the composition as set out in paragraph 3 and 4 cannot be reached due to the low number of judges at that court, the Chairperson of the court of appeal of general jurisdiction shall act as substitute member of the Court Council.
