1The Court Council is the competent authority for the appointment of other judicial civil servants.
2The candidates ranked in the candidates’ list issued by the Admission Committee shall be entitled to submit an application to the Court Council for the vacant position for other judicial civil servants upon completion of the lateral transfer and promotion procedure.
3The Court Council shall invite the candidates for an interview and shall select the candidate for the respective position in the judicial civil service considering the following criteria in the following order:
aRanking in the list of candidates;
bAny special features of the candidate linked to the vacancy;
cYears of professional experience in the justice sector or other professional experience relevant for the respective position.
4The Court Council shall reason and publish the decision on the results of the appointment process. The reasoned decision shall be delivered to all the candidates. Candidates who are not selected shall have the right to appeal against the decision to the competent court.
