1The child arrested/sentenced has the right to appeal against any decision or other measure taken by the authorities of detention, prison staff or other sentences.
2The respective staff of the Institution of Execution of Criminal Sentences for children where the child arrested/sentenced is placed shall give immediately to the child the possibility to be informed in writing of his rights and duties, including the right to appeal and the rules of appeal foreseen by law.
3A child who cannot read and write shall take the above-mentioned information verbally, in the presence of a person who keeps the records and the child shall confirm by signing.
4Information shall be given to the child in a form that the child understands. The same shall apply to the disabled child.
