1When not ordering the immediate release, the prosecutor, no later than forty-eight hours of the arrest or detention, shall request the validation of the precautionary measure to the court of the place where the arrest or detention was carried out. Failure to comply with such time limit shall result in the invalidity of the arrest or detention.
2The court shall schedule the validation hearing as soon as possible and shall notify the prosecutor and the defense lawyer.
