1Judicial police must also ex officio, get notice of criminal offences, prevent further consequences, search for their authors, conduct investigations and gather everything that serves the application of the criminal law.
2Judicial police conducts every investigative action that has been ordered or delegated by the prosecutor.
3The functions stipulated in paragraph 1 and 2 of this article are conducted by the judicial police officers. The investigators of the National Investigation Bureau have the status of the judicial police officer.
