1Within 5 days of the submission of the request to send the case to trial, the preliminary hearing judge shall schedule a date for the hearing. In cases when the defendant has not chosen a defense lawyer, provisions of Article 49 of the Code shall apply.
2A period of no longer than 10 days shall pass from the date of the submission of the request to send the case to trial until the date of the hearing.
3The court shall decide on the request to send the case to trial within 30 days from the filing of the request.
