1The transit through the territory of the Albanian State of an extradited person from a State to another, is authorised, upon request of the latter, by the Ministry of Justice, if the transfer does not impair the sovereignty, the security or other State interests.
2The transit is not authorized:
awhen the extradition is granted for facts which are not provided as criminal offences by the Albanian law;
bin the cases provided for by article 491, paragraph1;
cwhen it is about an Albanian citizen, for whom the extradition in the State requesting the transit, would not be given.
3The authorization is not required in case the transit is made by air ways and no landing in the Albanian territory is foreseen. But, when a landing occurs, the provisions regulating the precautionary measure shall apply, to the extent compatible.
