1The Justice Appointments Council is an independent body that verifies the fulfilment of legal requirements and evaluates the professional and moral criteria of candidates for members of the Constitutional Court and candidates for High Justice Inspector.
2The Justice Appointments Council fulfils its functions by observing standards of a due legal process and with the goal of providing higher professional and moral quality in the composition of the bodies mentioned in paragraph 1 of this Article.
